Pasado’s Safe Haven’s AARFF

Pasado’s Safe Haven’s AARFF (American Association of Retired Felines and Fidos) is filling an essential need in the community by rescuing elderly cats and dogs from animal shelters. Considered the least likely to be adopted, these older guys are usually the first to be euthanized. Please consider adopting one of these wonderful animals and receive a discount on our services. I90 Wildlife Bridges

Just east of Snoqualmie Pass, the state Department of Transportation is proposing to expand Interstate 90 from four lanes to six. The I-90 Wildlife Bridges Coalition is a local group campaigning to have wildlife connectivity be a part of the expansion project. They have brought together a diverse group of agencies to study the issue and see it through to its completion. Check out the site. It’s pretty cool stuff.
